Microsoft is testing new features for Windows 11, including support for 80Gbps USB 4 ports, automatic launch of the Copilot AI assistant upon logging in, and various other additions such as easy Snipping Tool editing for Android screenshots, custom voice commands, and a new Weather widget for the Windows lock screen. The venerable WordPad app has been removed from the builds, and a late winter or early spring launch window for the next batch of features could be expected.

Microsoft's Copilot AI Assistant Officially Released for Windows 10, Fixes Bugs and Leaves Public Preview

Microsoft has released the KB5032278 update for Windows 10, which introduces the Copilot AI assistant to the operating system. The update also includes fixes for 13 bugs. Copilot was initially available on Windows 11 devices and is now enabled by default on Windows 11 23H2 devices. The preview release of Copilot in Windows 10 is rolling out in select global markets, with more regions to join later. The update is optional and can be downloaded manually or through Windows Update.
