"Severe Storms Persist Tonight in North Texas"
A series of tornadoes hit North Texas on Saturday night, resulting in at least seven deaths, including two children, and significant damage to approximately 300 homes. The tornadoes, which affected areas such as Cooke, Denton, and Collin counties, were preliminarily categorized as EF-2 and EF-3. Emergency services and volunteer organizations are actively assisting affected residents, and Cooke County has been designated a Federal Disaster area.
