Jerry West has been elected into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for a record third time, this time as a contributor for his work as a general manager and consultant with various NBA teams. West, who was previously inducted as a player and a member of the 1960 U.S. Olympic team, has won eight championships and was twice named NBA Executive of the Year. His contributions include shaping the Lakers in the 1980s and 1990s, helping the Warriors win titles in 2015 and 2017, and rebuilding the Memphis Grizzlies.
