
Josh Duggar's prison sentence extended and release date pushed back.
Former reality TV star Josh Duggar, convicted of receiving and possessing child pornography, has had his 12.5-year prison sentence extended by nearly two months and is now in solitary confinement after allegedly being caught with a contraband cellphone. Duggar's release date is now Oct. 2, 2032. He was arrested in April 2021 after being accused of having over 200 images of child porn on his devices. After serving his sentence, Duggar will be on parole for 20 years and can't have unsupervised contact with minors, including his own children.
