Neeva, the privacy-focused search company co-founded by former Google executive Sridhar Ramaswamy, is shutting down its consumer search engine due to difficulty acquiring users and a challenging economic environment. The company will focus on exploring use cases for artificial intelligence, specifically generative AI and large language models in search. Neeva Premium users will receive a refund for the unused portion, and all user data will be deleted. The company will share more about its future plans in the coming weeks.
