Multiple Home Appliances Recalled for Fire Hazards
Over 77,000 gas cooktop units sold at Lowe's, Home Depot, and other appliance stores have been recalled due to a risk of injury and fire hazard. The plastic control knobs on the cooktops could break during use, potentially causing a gas leak and fire. The affected models are Frigidaire Stainless-Steel 30-inch 4 Burner Gas Cooktops and Frigidaire Stainless-Steel 36-inch 5 Burner Gas Cooktops. Consumers are advised to stop using the cooktops and contact Electrolux Group for free replacement knobs.
