"iPhone 14 Pro Max Reigns Supreme in Global Smartphone Market"
The iPhone 14 Pro Max has emerged as the most-shipped smartphone globally in the first half of the year, signaling a shift in consumer preferences towards high-end devices and away from budget phones. According to research firm Omdia, Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max shipped 26.5 million units, surpassing all other models from any manufacturer. This reflects a growing trend among consumers to opt for premium smartphones, driven by incremental upgrades and a desire for the best features on the market. Chinese smartphone manufacturers saw a decline in shipments, while Samsung's Galaxy A14 and Galaxy S23 Ultra also made the top-selling list. Overall, global smartphone shipments are expected to decline by 6% this year.
