
Unraveling the Louisville Shooting: Gunman's Identity, Updates, and Police Response.
Connor Sturgeon, a former bank worker and University of Alabama graduate, stormed the Old National Bank in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked armed with an AR-15-style rifle, and gunned down five of his colleagues in the first-floor conference room. Sturgeon had worked at the bank as a syndications associate and portfolio banker and had been recently notified that he was going to be fired. The motive for the attack remains unclear but the gunman is said to have left behind ominous warnings about his deadly plans for his family and friends to find. The five victims killed in Monday’s attack have been identified as Josh Barrick, Tommy Elliott, Jim Tutt, Juliana Farmer, and Deanna Eckert.
