The United States has run out of funds to replace the military aid sent to Ukraine, according to Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder. While there is still authority to send $4.2 billion in aid, the lack of additional funds may lead to a pause in support to avoid compromising U.S. forces' readiness. This situation comes after repeated warnings from administration officials and amidst congressional debates on federal funding, with a potential $100 billion spending bill on the horizon that could allocate more than half to Ukraine support. The Pentagon's last aid package for Ukraine, announced in December, was valued at $250 million.
