Oregon State and Washington State Forge Scheduling Alliance with Mountain West for 2024 Season
Oregon State and Washington State are in talks to finalize a football scheduling agreement for the 2024 season, which would involve Mountain West schools playing seven conference games and one against either Oregon State or Washington State. The agreement would generate additional games for the "Pac-2" in exchange for a direct payment of approximately $14 million to the Mountain West. The schools would not be eligible for the Mountain West Championship Game or an automatic bid to the College Football Playoff, but could receive an at-large berth. The partnership with the Mountain West allows the schools to fill their schedules and potentially explore a future merger.
