Rescue Efforts at Coney Island Beach: Teen Missing, One Rescued
Three Good Samaritans sprang into action at Coney Island Beach in New York City after hearing teenagers screaming in the water. One teenage swimmer was rescued, while another is still missing. The incident occurred near West 22nd Street, and a 911 call was placed. The rescuers, including John McLean and Fernando Agurto, risked their own safety to save the teenagers. The rescued teenager was in a critical condition upon being saved.
