Tesco Chairman John Allan Resigns Amid Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior
Tesco Chairman John Allan is stepping down from his position following allegations of inappropriate conduct. Allan has denied three of the four claims made against him, but board member Byron Grote said the allegations risked becoming a distraction to Tesco. Tesco has made "no findings of wrongdoing". Allan will leave Tesco in June after eight years in the role. The CBI, where Allan was a former president, is also facing separate allegations of sexual misconduct.
