"Brooklyn Woman Arrested for Keeping Dismembered Body in Refrigerator"
A 44-year-old Brooklyn woman, Heather Stines, has been charged with concealment of a human corpse after the decapitated, dismembered body of a registered sex offender, Kawsheen Gelzer, was found in her refrigerator. Gelzer, a known drug dealer, went missing after visiting Stines and her husband, Nicholas McGee, and may have died during a narcotics dispute. Stines was ordered held on bail and also faces charges for outstanding shoplifting arrests. The city’s Medical Examiner’s office has yet to determine how Gelzer died, and the investigation is ongoing.
