Brooklyn Woman Arrested for Concealing Dismembered Body in Refrigerator
Heather Stines of Brooklyn was charged with concealing a human corpse after police found body parts in her refrigerator. The remains, including a head and limbs, were discovered in garbage bags after a tip-off. Stines claimed the body parts belonged to a man her husband had killed in September, but she denied witnessing the killing. The victim was identified as Kawsheen Gelzer, and the cause of death is pending. Stines pleaded not guilty and had prior warrants related to shoplifting and bail-jumping charges.
