A Louisville man, Amari McClung, was arrested after accidentally shooting a woman in the foot at the Kentucky State Fair. McClung was carrying a concealed loaded handgun when it "negligently discharged" in a crowded area. The woman was injured, but no one else was harmed. McClung is facing charges of wanton endangerment and carrying a concealed weapon under the legal age of 21.

Former heavyweight boxing world champion Deontay Wilder was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of a concealed weapon. The Los Angeles Police Department announced that Wilder was taken into custody for illegally tinted windows and an obstructed license plate on his Rolls Royce. Officers smelled marijuana during the stop and found a 9mm gun in an ensuing search of the vehicle. Wilder was released on a bond of $35,000 approximately five hours later.
