Outrage over "stupid" nerf to Mythical Pokemon's attack sparks player backlash

Pokemon players are upset about the nerf to Dark Void, the signature move of the Mythical Pokemon Darkrai. The move's accuracy was reduced and it now fails when used by any Pokemon other than Darkrai. Additionally, the chance of inflicting sleep was lowered from 80% to 50%. The biggest nerf was that only Darkrai could use Dark Void after Generation 7, resulting in both Darkrai and Smeargle being affected. While the nerf was intended to balance the competitive scene, some fans feel it was unnecessary and have expressed disappointment.
