Rocket League's Play Menu Gets a Makeover: A Sneak Peek
Rocket League's Play Menu is getting a facelift in the upcoming season, featuring a new design and streamlined layout to improve navigation. Competitive Playlists and Extra Modes Playlists will be combined into a new Competitive card, allowing players to queue for multiple Competitive Playlists simultaneously. The Casual card will introduce two new Arcade Playlists that rotate weekly, including Extra Modes like Heatseeker and Spike Rush. Exhibition Mode, Season Mode, and Workshop Maps will have their own Play Offline card, and the Private Match card will include both Private Match and LAN Match options. Additional quality-of-life changes include joining Private Matches from Training, loading different Workshop maps, and displaying ranks in a party. The developers also plan to address community-driven topics such as smurfing and skill placement improvements in the future.
