"Microsoft Lifts Compatibility Hold, Allowing More PCs to Upgrade to Windows 11"
Microsoft has resolved a two-year-old issue preventing certain Windows 10 PCs from upgrading to Windows 11 due to compatibility issues with Intel's Smart Sound Technology drivers. The company has released an update to make it easier for affected PCs to upgrade by allowing the installation of updated Intel drivers via Windows update. However, PCs running Intel’s 11th generation Core processors may still encounter issues, and those unable to receive the updated drivers may be stuck with Windows 10.
