Communist Revolutionaries Protest Jason Aldean Concert with Flag Burning
A group of around 20 communist revolutionaries staged a protest outside a Jason Aldean concert in Chicago, burning American flags and chanting anti-US slogans. The group criticized Aldean's song "Try That In A Small Town" and vowed to try their protest in front of his concert. Law enforcement declared the protest an "unlawful assembly" and warned the group to disperse. No altercations with concert-goers were reported, and the concert proceeded as scheduled. The protesters were also showing support for the Revolutionary Communist Party and their belief in creating a Marxist revolution in America. Aldean defended his song against accusations of being pro-lynching and critical of Black Lives Matter protests.
