Music Stars Unite Against Gun Violence in Powerful Live Events
Billie Eilish, Peter Gabriel, Sheryl Crow, and other artists have formed a new coalition called Artist for Action to Prevent Gun Violence, aimed at inspiring Americans to take action against gun violence through volunteering and voting. The coalition seeks to eliminate the epidemic that has claimed over 37,000 lives in the US this year alone. The launch will include live events and a film telling the story of Mark Barden, a musician and father who lost his son in the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. Eilish has previously expressed support for gun control, urging her followers to support gun safety non-profit Everytown.
