March ushers in chaos with a Darkoath Marauder and dual commemorative coins

Warhammer Community announces March’s in-store Miniature of the Month: the Darkoath Marauder, available from March 7 while stocks last, as part of the Call to Arms and 1 Million Miniatures campaigns. Shoppers can also take advantage of a Pick ’n’ Mix paints promo and collect two commemorative coins—the emblem of Shyish for the Ossiarch Bonereapers and a Black Library coin tied to an upcoming celebration. If you bring a friend to claim coins and a model, they’ll get rewards and you’ll progress toward Call to Arms. The piece also notes new store openings in Kyoto, Woodbridge (VA), and St. Anthony (MN).

Australia's Queen portrait on commemorative coins sparks online debate

Two commemorative coins—$5 and 50c silver pieces—issued by the Royal Australian Mint to mark the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth drew online scrutiny for an unflattering portrait. The mint defended the etched image, noting coin designs can look different in metal; the coins are collectors’ items, not for general circulation, with 30,000 of the 50c and 5,000 of the $5 produced. Designs reflect the Queen’s life (horse and corgi, art, theatre, flowers, golden wattle) and the reverse bears a portrait of King Charles.
