Focus Features has acquired the rights to "Dìdi," a coming-of-age drama that won the U.S. dramatic audience award at Sundance. The semi-autobiographical film, written, produced, and directed by Sean Wang, follows a 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy in the summer before high school. The film has received critical acclaim and is set to resonate with audiences. Additionally, Wang's previous short documentary, "Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó (Grandma & Grandma)," won awards and was acquired by Disney+.
