Tragic Loss: New Braunfels Teen Succumbs to Comal River Incident
A 16-year-old boy drowned while swimming with his family in the Comal River at the New Braunfels Tube Chute. The teen went under the water and did not resurface, prompting a search by river patrol officers. He was found by other swimmers and pulled from the water, but despite CPR efforts, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities are investigating whether a pre-existing medical condition played a role in the incident.
