Multiple Fatal Crashes Near Whitefish and Columbia Falls; Suspect Charged in Claverack Collision
A 36-year-old man from Columbia Falls died in a fiery crash on Montana 40 near Whitefish when his Subaru Outback crossed the center turn lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The Subaru burst into flames, resulting in the driver's death at the scene. The other driver sustained minor injuries.
