Tragic Crash Claims Lives of University of Wyoming Swimmers
Carson Muir, an 18-year-old collegiate swimmer at the University of Wyoming, along with two of her teammates, died in a single-car crash near the Wyoming-Colorado border. Muir, who was from Birmingham, was a freshman studying animal and veterinary sciences. The crash also left two other members of the men's swimming and diving team injured. The university's president expressed deep sadness over the loss, which comes just a week after the passing of another student, Sabrina Geller.
