Spotify has launched a new social feature called Jam, which allows up to 32 people to create a real-time collaborative playlist. Users can contribute to the playlist by tapping on the speaker icon and selecting "Start a Jam" from any song, album, or existing playlist. The host of the Jam has control over the music but can enable "Guest controls" to allow others to remove songs or change the order. Jam incorporates Spotify's personalization technology to generate suggestions based on the group's listening preferences. The feature is available to all Spotify users globally starting September 26.
