"Tetris" gets a Hollywood twist in Cold War thriller adaptation.
Taron Egerton stars in the new movie Tetris, which tells the thrilling origin story of the popular video game. The film follows Henk Rogers, the video game designer and entrepreneur who risked everything to negotiate with authorities in Soviet Russia for the rights to the game in the late 1980s. Egerton describes the movie as a Cold War thriller, complete with espionage, double-crosses, and threats against Rogers' family. The Welsh actor relates to Rogers' constant hustle and determination, and found the script to be a compulsive read. Tetris premieres on Apple TV+ on March 31.
