'Yellowstone' Creator Taylor Sheridan Files Lawsuit Against Cole Hauser's Coffee Company for Trademark Infringement
"Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan's company, Bosque Ranch, has filed a lawsuit against star Cole Hauser's coffee company, Free Rein, for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising. The lawsuit alleges that Free Rein's brand mark is strikingly similar to Bosque Ranch's registered trademark, potentially misleading consumers. Bosque Ranch is seeking a trial by jury and requesting that Free Rein be permanently enjoined from using the mark, as well as compensatory damages and the destruction of all products and materials bearing the mark. Representatives for both companies have not yet commented on the matter.
