Jack Kirby's Son Criticizes Disney+ Stan Lee Documentary Narrative.
Neal Kirby, son of Marvel Comics co-creator Jack Kirby, has criticized the new Disney+ documentary on Stan Lee's life, claiming that Lee receives too much credit for creating Marvel characters that Kirby had a hand in bringing to life. Kirby also stated that Lee had a limited knowledge of history, mythology, or science, and relied on others for major plot points. Kirby defended all the writers and artists whose work was overshadowed and called for a more accurate portrayal of literary/art history.
