Perimeter Tightens as Portland Officers Wounded in Sullivan's Gulch
Two Portland Police Bureau officers were shot around 8:21 p.m. on Jan 19, 2026 in the Sullivan's Gulch area and transported to a hospital in stable condition; the suspect remains at large as a perimeter is set with SERT, CNT, air support, UAS and K9 assisting in the search. Roads are closed from NE Broadway to NE Multnomah and NE 15th to NE 21st; the homicide unit leads the investigation (case 26-18537).
