
Mexican team León triumphs over LAFC in Concacaf Champions League final.
Club León defeated LAFC 1-0 in the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League final, securing the regional club championship 3-1 on aggregate. This marks the first time León has won the tournament since 1993 and the 14th time a Mexican club has won in 15 years. Lucas Di Yorio scored the only goal of the match in the 20th minute. León also earned a berth in the Fifa Club World Cup.
