"Firefighter Injured as Fire Engulfs Kings Mountain Truck Stop"
A firefighter was injured while responding to a two-alarm fire at the Kings Mountain Travel Center truck stop in Cleveland County, N.C. The fire, which started around 1:15 a.m., required the efforts of seven fire departments and 50 firefighters to control within an hour. The fire was contained to the main building, and the firefighter's injuries are not life-threatening. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Cleveland County Fire Marshal’s Office and Kings Mountain Police Department.
