Cleveland Browns Stadium Reverts to Original Name.
The Cleveland Browns have ended their naming rights agreement with FirstEnergy Corp. and will revert to calling their home stadium Cleveland Browns Stadium, its original name when it opened in 1999. The stadium was renamed FirstEnergy Stadium in 2013. The Browns' home field is located on the site of Cleveland Municipal Stadium, which had served as the home site of Cleveland's pro football and baseball teams for over 60 years.
