Manhunt Suspect Accused of Shooting Deputy Found Dead
The body of Kameron Jenkins, a 25-year-old man accused of shooting a Cleveland County deputy, was found by law enforcement after a secondary grid search near Interstate 35 in Oklahoma. Cadaver dogs located Jenkins' body 150 yards from the original shooting scene, concealed under thickets and heavy brush. Jenkins was found with his weapons, but it remains unclear how or when he died. The investigation will be handed over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Jenkins had a lengthy criminal history and was recently released from prison.
