Commanders Secure Clelin Ferrell in 1-Year Free Agency Deal
The Washington Commanders have signed former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Clelin Ferrell to a one-year deal. Ferrell, who was originally signed for depth, became a Week 1 starter for the 49ers before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He finished his first season in San Francisco with 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 16 pressures. The 26-year-old had previously spent four years with the Las Vegas Raiders, recording 10 sacks before joining the 49ers in free agency.
