Aardman Animation's Clay Crisis: Running Out of Material
Aardman Animations, known for its iconic clay animation techniques, is facing a shortage of its preferred clay material, Newplast plasticine, as the only factory producing it closed down earlier this year. The studio has purchased the remaining stock for an upcoming Wallace & Gromit film, but is now searching for a suitable replacement or considering creating its own substitute. Despite the challenge, Aardman's staff remains dedicated and is currently working on Netflix's Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, set to release on December 15.
