Claude Ruiz Picasso, Son and Manager of Pablo Picasso's Estate, Passes Away at 76
Claude Ruiz-Picasso, the younger son of renowned artist Pablo Picasso, has passed away at the age of 76. He served as the administrator of Picasso's estate for over three decades and leaves behind his wife and two children. Ruiz-Picasso was involved in various artistic endeavors, including working as an assistant to photographer Richard Avedon and as a photojournalist. He was heavily involved in the Picasso Celebration project, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of his father's death. Claude's death comes after the passing of his mother, Françoise Gilot, earlier this year, leaving fashion designer Paloma Picasso as the only surviving child of Pablo Picasso.
