Texas Substitute Teacher Fired for Encouraging Classroom Fighting
A substitute teacher in Texas has been fired after allegedly encouraging students to fight in her class at Kimbrough Middle School. The teacher reportedly outlined rules for the students to follow and instructed a student to monitor the classroom door while the fights took place. The district has referred the matter to the Mesquite Police Department, where an investigation is underway. Video recorded by a student's mother helped bring the incidents to light. This comes after a Florida teacher was charged with facilitating classroom fights among girls at her Tallahassee middle school.
