Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be the first game in the Modern Warfare series to feature a Zombies mode, as confirmed through a secret mobile number discovered by fans. Texting the word "zombies" to the number revealed a zombie emoji and a link to a zombie audio file on Activision's website. Additionally, the same number confirmed the return of classic Modern Warfare 2 maps in Modern Warfare 3. The inclusion of these maps, such as Terminal and Rust, is expected to please fans who consider them among the best in the franchise. The game's in-Warzone reveal event is set for August 17, with the release date scheduled for November 10.
