Georgia Football Fines Players Amid 24 Driving Incidents Since 2023
Georgia Bulldogs players involved in traffic-related incidents are facing withheld NIL payments as part of a disciplinary measure. Head Coach Kirby Smart confirmed that the Classic City NIL Collective has been deducting payments for such violations, a practice in place for about two years. This comes amid ongoing concerns about speeding and reckless driving within the program, which has seen 24 related charges in the last 18 months.
