Dick Allen and Dave Parker have been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Classic Baseball Era committee, receiving 13 and 14 votes respectively, surpassing the 12-vote threshold needed for induction. Allen, who passed away in 2020, was recognized for his 15-year career and outspoken personality, while Parker was noted for his all-around skills despite past controversies. They will be inducted on July 27, alongside any players chosen by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
