SRAM has issued a safety recall for faulty clamp bolts inside its brake lever hoods, affecting certain 12-speed eTap AXS Red, Force, Rival, and Apex shift-brake levers sold as aftermarket sets. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the affected levers and inspect them for tightness, as the issue could lead to loss of control and crashes. SRAM has provided instructions for checking and tightening the levers, and is offering free replacements or repairs through its dealers.
