Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. settled a civil sex abuse lawsuit, which alleged that he raped a woman in a New York City hotel in 2013, just minutes before the scheduled trial began. The official court record stated “the parties have resolved the matter” as the reason for cancellation. Last week, the judge ruled that three women who previously accused Gooding of sudden or attempted sexual assaults would be allowed to testify in the civil sex abuse case.
