
San Francisco Church Assault Suspect Throws Bombs at Officers During Car Chase
A suspect involved in a church assault in San Francisco led police on a pursuit to the East Bay, during which he threw two pipe bombs at officers. The incident began when the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Daniel Garcia, allegedly attacked a parishioner who confronted him for not taking communion at Saints Peter and Paul Church. After fleeing the scene, Garcia brandished a knife and threw pipe bombs during the pursuit. The California Highway Patrol eventually arrested him in Martinez. Garcia is now facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and setting off an explosive with the intent to harm.
