Multiple Women Injured in Separate Shootings Across Kentucky
A woman was shot in the leg during an argument with Jeffrey Proffitt, who was waving a handgun around. She was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is now in stable condition. Proffitt was arrested and charged with first-degree domestic assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
