"Panthers Block Giants from Interviewing Chris Tabor, Then Fire Him"
The Carolina Panthers blocked the New York Giants from interviewing their special teams coordinator, Chris Tabor, and then fired him with two years left on his contract. Despite Panthers owner David Tepper suggesting that Tabor be retained, the new head coach opted to build his staff from scratch. Tabor is now free to interview elsewhere, but not with the Giants, who have already hired Michael Ghobrial as their new special teams coordinator.
