Notre-Dame's Grand Reopening: A Symbol of Resilience and Renewal
A choir formed by the team that helped rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral after the devastating 2019 fire is set to perform at the cathedral's reopening. The Notre-Dame Compagnons Choir, consisting of architects, stonemasons, and other professionals involved in the restoration, symbolizes the collaborative effort to restore the iconic French Gothic structure. The choir will perform during the celebrations marking the cathedral's reopening, fulfilling a promise made by French President Emmanuel Macron to have it ready by 2024, although restoration will continue.
