Multiple Injuries Reported After Tree Falls at San Antonio Zoo
One child remains in serious condition at University Hospital a day after a tree fell on seven guests at the San Antonio Zoo. The other six patients have been discharged. The incident occurred on Wednesday and the zoo's safety director immediately attended to the injured guests. The zoo's security/EMT team treated the guests, followed by San Antonio Park Police, the San Antonio Police Department, and the San Antonio Fire Department. An arborist speculated that the tree may have been overweight and had some decay in the union.
