Jessica Alba Resigns as Chief Creative Officer of The Honest Company
Jessica Alba, founder of personal care company Honest, is stepping down as chief creative officer to focus on "new endeavors" while retaining a seat on the company board. The company, which went public in May 2021, has seen rising sales but struggled to turn a profit until its recent profitable quarter. Alba founded Honest in 2012 after experiencing allergic reactions to baby laundry detergents, and expressed her continued dedication to the company as a "true labor of love."
