
Violent Encounter: Chicago Man Attacks Lincoln Police Officer at Bus Stop
A Chicago man involved in a fare dispute at a Lincoln bus stop stabbed a Lincoln Police officer in the neck. Another officer shot the suspect, and both are now hospitalized. The injured officer is in good spirits with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, identified as a 27-year-old man from Chicago, will face charges of first-degree assault on an officer and the use of a weapon to commit a felony once released from the hospital.
